Thanks to all who came to St Anne’s to hear from Roy Beaumont of Plymouth City Pastors.

It was a fascinating and uplifting talk with many stories and insights, giving a greater understanding of their vital work.

The wild garden behind St Anne's Church is looking amazing at the moment. But it comes with hard work from Grace and the team who look after the garden. Here we see ​Peter digging through the stoniest ground in Christendom to plant a tree donated by Penny. After a cup of tea provided by Val, more work was undertaken to clear the entrance path.

Well, what a day. Overwhelming, exhausting, but absolutely one of the best days of my life. The occasion was indeed special in itself, but added to this was the joy of being among family and friends – in fact the whole Cathedral was a bubble of kindness, compassion and joy. 

I am extremely grateful for the care and consideration given by everyone to ensure that even though I have mobility issues, I could still fully participate in the service. A wheelchair was provided and everyone was so kind to me - making sure I was ok throughout the day.

​New 'Team St Anne's' Aprons
So the Team St Anne's Catering Department have new aprons... oooh sounds a bit posh.....  but there are a few lovely ladies who really do an amazing job in catering for our services and social community events - and they wanted aprons... not just ordinary aprons, but 'Team St Anne's' aprons. And that is what they got.

Through generous donations from themselves and the congregation, aprons were purchased and the screen printing was done by Wendy and her daughter.

​In 2019/2020 Ruth and Karen undertook the 'Foundations in Christian Ministry' course by SWMTC through the Diocese of Exeter. This is a foundation course which can lead on to Lay Ministry or Ordination training. Here are their reflections
