Prayer

We are so lucky as Christian to have 'Prayer'. The Church of England website describes so perfectly what prayer is:

*'To pray is to make our hearts ready to experience the love of God in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Praying regularly will help us to develop a spiritual rhythm. A discipline of prayer changes the way that we think about our lives, because it creates new habits of heart and mind. Prayer opens us more deeply to the transforming grace of God. We enter into God’s presence, allowing the Holy Spirit to pray in us ' (www.churchofengland.org/journeying-with-god/learning-pray)

Prayer at St Anne's
Prayer is very important to all at St Anne's - we give thanks to God, we pray for each other, for others who need prayer, the world, the Church and ourselves. Prayer is often a personal activity, but if you would like someone to pray with you please let us know.

If you would like to go to a quiet, peaceful place to pray, then during daylight hours both St Mary's Church in Bickleigh and St Edwards Church in Shaugh Prior are both open. You are most welcome to just turn up and pray in either churches.
